External Optimization With White Methods: How To Get Quality Backlinks

External optimization - a set of works, which boils down to the construction and increase link mass by getting backlinks to the site. The more quality backlinks - the more authoritative the site becomes in the eyes of search engines and users. Also your links won't work without search engine index checker.

Not all backlinks guarantee an increase in authority, but only high-quality links that lead to relevant and trusted domains with low spam rate. On how to get them, we'll understand in this article.

Guest posting

Guest posting is not only a way to get backlinks but also to draw traffic, increase lead generation and boost your site's reputation. Guest posting is a completely safe method of getting backlinks.

Its essence is quite simple and consists in placing a post on a relevant site with a backlink to your site/blog/product.

To avoid difficulties in finding these sites, you can use search engine optimization, as well as special services and programs.

Consider each method.

Search Engine Optimization

Use the search operator :intitle to find sites that accept guest posts on the topics you want.

Parsing search results

Search engine parsing will also help find sites. I will show you how it is done in the tool "PS Parser" program Netpeak Checker.

  1. Go to the tool window.
  2. Enter the desired queries.
  3. Go to the settings and select the search engines from which the data will be parsed, as well as the number of results.
  4. Press Start.
  5. Examine the results.

Analyzing competitors' backlinks

You can find out from which sites your competitors received backlinks, and write them your offer. To get a list of these links, use the Serpstat service.

  1. Go to the Backlinks Analysis module, open the "Referring Domains" section, then enter your competitor's site address in the address bar and click "Find".
  2. After the analysis is complete, you will see a list of sites in front of you.
  3. To unload the results, use the "Export" function.

Once the list of sites is assembled, don't rush to send letters right away. Check the quality of the domains to make sure that links from them will not lead to penalties from search engines. The main criteria by which a domain should be evaluated:

  • domain rating (according to services such as Ahrefs, Serpstat, Moz, Majestic, etc.);
  • traffic;
  • Yandex IKS;
  • number of external links;
  • domain age.

To collect this data quickly and in one table, use the aforementioned program Netpeak Checker, which has integrations with all the services needed to check domains.

To do so:

  1. In the tool, check the desired indicators in the Options tab of the sidebar.
  2. Paste the URL list in one of the following ways: manually, download from a file, or paste from the clipboard. All of these methods are implemented through the URL List menu.
  3. Press the "Start" button to start the analysis.
  4. You can find these indicators in the "All Results" table.

You can also collect email addresses and save time searching for them.
To do this, you need to check the "Email Addresses" box on the "Options" sidebar, and run the scan.

So, once you have a list of relevant sites and their email addresses, put together an offer letter offering to publish your material.

After agreeing on a theme, think about where exactly you will place a link to your site. There are several options:

  1. A link in the preamble of the article. For example: "Ivan Ivanov, an SEO specialist from Example, shared useful tips for optimizing your website."
  2. Link to product/service. If your company develops a product or provides services, you can mention them in the post, but in a way that looks natural (not too promotional) and not taken out of context. For example: "Service will allow you to quickly find cheap airline tickets."
  3. Link as an endorsement. If you did some research and wrote about it on your site, you may link to it in a guest post.
  4. Link as a supplement to the material. For example: "Learn more about how to do this from the [Name] post."

Adding to lists

Surely you have come across articles like "Top 10 Best Sites for Designers", "A selection of blogs for creative inspiration" and the like on the Internet.

The essence of this method is that you get in touch with the site owner or the author of the article and ask them to add their site/product to the list. If it is a rating where voting is provided, then you need to register your blog/product on the rating site to get it on the general list.

Adding to external content

A post on your blog can be a companion piece to another one on an external site.

Write to the author of the article and offer to link to your material as a supplement. If you offer a useful and relevant post, the chances are very high that you will get an agreement.

Therefore, initially making quality content is already a great way to attract external links to the site.

Posting on forums, Q&A services, and review sites

Mentioning your site with a link on forums gives the opportunity to get a backlink and increase brand awareness. However, do it as natively as possible and don't spam, otherwise you might get a fine from the search engines and a ban from the forum administrators.

Leave comments in the thematic branches, and only if it really makes sense. Look for threads on your topic by keywords.

Q&A services are also an effective link building tool. The same pattern works here as in the forums: post without spamming and to the point. The most popular Q&A sites in the Western segment are Reddit and Quora, and in the Russian-speaking segment - Mail and Yandex.Znatoki.

Product and service companies can safely post on review sites as well.

Connecting social media

Placing links to the site in social networks - another good method of link building. However, there is an opinion about its ineffectiveness and uselessness due to the fact that in many social networks links are closed tag nofollow.

But closed links - does not mean useless. They can be taken into account when ranking and bring traffic. In addition, nofollow-links provide a natural link profile.

So feel free to place links in their own accounts, as well as in thematic communities. And do not limit yourself to several sites, try to be present and active in various social networks: Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, VKontakte, LinkedIn, LiveJournal, Pinterest, Twitter, etc.

Don't forget about regular analysis of link mass.

External SEO is an important part of website promotion and is all about building link mass. You need to get only natural and high-quality backlinks to make it as effective and safe as possible. This can be done in the following ways:

  • engage in guest posting;
  • add to lists and rankings;
  • supplement content with posts from your own blog;
  • post on forums, Q&A services, review sites;
  • connect to social networks.
